Shanghai Shanshan Technology, the world’s largest synthetic graphite anode producer, has entered into a strategic partnership with Imerys, a French multinational company that specialises in the production and processing of industrial minerals.
The agreement centers on developing a localised supply chain for high-performance anode materials, designed to support Europe’s growing electric vehicle and energy storage markets.
The collaboration aims to deliver a secure, sustainable, and competitive European anode supply chain through localised production and technological innovation.
By leveraging Shanshan’s globally recognised anode technologies and Imerys’ extensive European resources, technical expertise, and market presence, the two companies will co-develop advanced graphite products to meet Europe’s stringent quality and performance standards.
